Ospur

Ravaged by war, famine, plague and other disasters humanity fled earth in generational colonyships. One such ship was Forlorn Hope. The Benevolent Eyes guided and controlled humanity. After a long journey they arrived at the preselected planet of Ospur. The preceding terraforming ship had not completed it's work and the crew had to wait.   Some of humanity, known as Reapers, would not wait to receive their inheritance and mutinied against their masters. In this rebellion some of the Eyes were destroyed. Humanity descended to Ospur. The remaining Eyes descended to Ospur with the loyal fragments of humanity.   Adomos the leader of the eyes was lost in the mutiny. The remaining Eyes began to struggle against each other. Eventually some Eyes decide to lead their followers into migrations into unknown lands. Others wandered off alone. A select few remained with the descendants of the loyal crew known as the Hop Kru.   For a time humanity prospered. In time the remaining Eyes encountered the descendants of the Reapers in the form of The Reaper Imperium. Old disagreements led to a terrible war. This war destroyed entire cities. The Hop Kru split in to various inhabitants of Hopefall.   Now the survivors eke out a living among the ruins of their ancestors. The Utopians live in their ancient dome cities and send out clone patrols to harass the inhabitants of the ruins. The clever but fearful Scavs struggle to avoid the much stronger forces around them and scrape together a life. Violent and savage bands of Ravagers rove the ruins taking what they can from whomever they can. Pariahs stand tall as distrusted but revered armored sentinels that oppose Utopian forces with their own weaponry. Beneath the ruins churn ancient subterranean cities full of the secretive Sanctified.
