History

Roventa was the site at which a Reichguard skirmish party lured the infamous highwayman Martin Mravec to his apparent death by kidnapping his lover and holding her hostage at the town inn.
In early Lorinthrise 201IE a company of Reichguard led an assault on Roventa. They were repelled by the Novayan defenders thanks to the aid of Reichguard defector Major Maria Teybar and supposedly, the notorious highwayman Martin Mravec.
Following the battle of Roventa, Yelyzaveta Konevod, a woman who's father was killed years prior during the Reichguard-Martin Mravec confrontation challenged Earl Chernov to a duel for Lordship of Roventa. She slew him in single combat and was declared Earl of Roventa, taking Maria Teybar as her Countess.
Shortly after assuming lordship of the village, Earl Konevod took in a troop of Reichguard defectors who had turned to banditry in the south of her lands and pardoned them in return for service in her retinue.
