Purpose / Function
To train and hone students natural magical abilities in an ethical and righteous manner.
Alterations
Multiple dormitory wings and extra classrooms have been added over the course of decades from its beginnings.
Architecture
A mix of Elven and gothic castle architecture makes up the look of the Abraxios academy. Tiled roofs, Solid stone walls and mosaic stained glass windows.
Defenses
The Laminae defend the Abraxios Academy as well as the rest of Tirasa. Apart from that, the school kind of governs itself with teachers taking on responsibility of the students in the manner of morality and practical magic use.
History
Built roughly 500 years before the common era by a strange wizard named Anorim as a refuge for magic users who, especially in those days often faced scrutiny or downright aggression from those who viewed their abilities as harmful or dangerous. They wrought the very stones themselves into place using magic and it is not known how long Anorim endeavored on this. Little is known of Anorim and scholars to this day can not seem to come to an agreement of things like their gender or even what race or species Anorim was. But their legacy remains within the hallowed walls of the Academy where even today is a refuge for all magic users without exception.
Tourism
Apart from those attending as students, magic users from all over the world visit the Academy to take in the sights as well as peruse their vast library of historic and magic related tomes. Its expansive collection is second only to the Library of Academia in Mount Cashell. Though the Academy's library holds more esoteric and lesser known volumes of magical inscriptions.
