Session 25: When Last We Met 2/13/23
General Summary
When last we met, the party had just returned from a harrowing trip into the Abyss. Back on the prime material plane, they put their exhausted guide to bed and set about identifying the armor they just stole from Baphomet's maze. Within the instant fortress, Vandread discerned that this was indeed The Chain of Tharizdun. An accursed armor which forces the wearer to commit unspeakable acts.
They return the armor to the bag of holding and take their rest. The following day, Mistral receives word via the sending spell that his book of shadows sold to a shady looking buyer. The party then inquires with Ukko over a breakfast of sausages whether he knows of anyone who would know of a celestial that can help them. He remembers a colleague of his, Maleeka, who is researching a mage of legend and that the party should go and talk to her. He even offers to escort them back to the Academy and make the proper introductions.
With their items gathered up, their fortress put away, and their bear did his business in the woods, they head to Tirasa. Upon their arrival, ukko sets about searching for Maleeka, whome they eventually find. She is a bubbly little halfling who introduces herself to the paty and relays that she is researching Mordenkainen, A wizard of no small repute. She believes he once had settled somewhere on the Isle and her research may have shown her exactly where it would be. She deduces that the reason Ukko set them up was that if anyone had some god-magic breaking items, It would be old Mordenkainen.
Maleeka offers to show the party where his home is said to be located... as long as she can accompany them on their journey. Her voracious need to prove herself to fellow colleagues and no longer be looked at as an absent-minded fool being her main motivations. The party agrees and with a nearly month long journey ahead of them, The party asks if there is an easier way.
Maleeka relays she COULD teleport them there, but it may backfire in a multitude of ways. The party eventually agrees they have nothing to lose and have Maleeka cast the teleport spell - Which lands them about 300 miles off target from their destination. Having at the very least shaved off a good 11 days off their journey, they decide to make the rest of the journey on foot.
What dangers await our party in this new country?

Rewards Granted
The Chain of Tharizdun - A sprawl of Black chains is riddled with spikes and blood stains.
The cursed item of Tharizdun. If worn, it can not be taken off unless a Remove Curse spell is used. While in the armor, The wearer has an AC of 16 as well as resistances to radiant damage. The wearer must kill a creature once per day or become restrained and take 1d6 damage per hour until death. The armor is thought to be only able to be destroyed by truly powerful creatures. The armor looks like a mithril shirt made from heavy black chain.

Ükkô - Daddy Dwarf Bear. Got the party out of the Abyss, made them some sausages, and introduced them to a colleague who may be of help. Returns to the forest he's guarding with hopes of meeting the party again soon.
Maleeka - Absent minded halfling mage. Studying the life and works of the great Mordenkainen. Offers to bring the party to a place he reportedly lived to find some way of destroying the artifact in their possession.
Nisla - Gnome proprietor of Nisla's Alchemy - sold the party several potions of healing.
Minerde - Elven propietor of Fox's Amor - agreed to comission Mistral's Wyvern stinger into a Dagger of venom. Consults all transactions with her pet rat.
