Session 99: When Last We Met 10/20/24
General Summary
When last we met, The party had just put down their foil Ostera.... Only for her to be resurrected by the King in Yellow as this horrific abomination. The party held it at bay as they launched spell and projectile at it. Saraeris, The headmistress of the Abraxios academy, tried several times to banish the thing. But was not successful. She placed a glyph of warding on the ground and told the party to lure the thing to it.
Meanwhile, the rest of the party chipped away at it's health. Vandread seemed to taunt the thing with Eldritch blasts, positioning himself at the right spot so that The Punished Ostera would walk over the glyph. It does so and is instantly engulfed in a fiery explosion that also harms Vandread and Moonwing.
With Ostera utterly destroyed (for the second time), Saraeris orders the party into the school. Once inside she laments that the Heroes of Maplevale will have to leave at once, or risk bringing another eldritch horror like that to the school where it could harm students. The party agrees and asks if they could take the teleportation circle back to their home. Saraeris agrees and escorts them to the circle.
The sigil sequence is written out and they are wished good luck before instantaneously being brought to the cellar of their manor home. There, they reunite with Vasil, their faithful Manservant, as well as Caoimhe, the de facto security detail on their house. They catch up and go over future build plans for the manor (along with new security ideas) and update everyone on the goings on in their current saving of the world
They enjoy a nice home-cooked meal (The first they'd had in months) and a well deserved rest in their own beds. They awake the next morning and decide on checking on the town of Ailec to see its progress. Not wanting to accidentally kill a villager, Mistral opts to stay home and Vandread joins him.
Celeste and Romaia head to Ailec with Vandread's steel defender. They find a town on the rise. Houses and businesses are popping up left and right. They have a Stable/Stud farm, A butcher, Ignacio's smithy and very soon, an Inn that will generate Revenue tentatively being called The Raven's Pearl. Friendly smiles and kind words are exchanged all around before the three ladies take their leave of the town. Satisfied with its development.
Back at the manor, Vandread and Mistral decide on a friendly duel of Eldritch Blasts. This will allow Mistral his evil deed of the fortnight, stave off boredom AND give the two of them some spellcasting experience.
In the end, Mistral wins out by a single point. The two shake on it as Romaia and Celeste make it back to the front door. At that moment, The mummy they thought they destroyed in the Tomb in Sunwilde just reappears next to Mistral. What could have brought The Holder of the End Back??

Saraeris - Headmistress of the Abraxios Academy. Helped the party rid her school of The Punished Ostera. Says the party need to be as far away from the school while still in possession of that book. She sends them on their way via Teleportation circle.
Vasil Bogdan - Faithful as ever, He is ready to greet the party with a warm meal and a tidy bed to let them recuperate
Caoimhe - Gnome aritificer. Hired on as the Security person for the Manor and possibly a business opportunity in Ailec. He will do renovations on the manor first though.
Ignacio - Former Slaver turned Ailec Blacksmith. He is doing extremely well in his new craft and is overjoyed at being able to follow in his father's footsteps as a blacksmith.
Gerard - Former cook for The Volim Crime family. Now is the butcher and cook for Ailec. Enjoys what he is doing but says he can always use more livestock for food supplies
Mr. Kingsley - Orcish Stableman. Opened a stud farm after being freed from enslavement in the Volgot Mines. Very grateful to be in his current position.
Erica De Lucia - Elvish Proprietor of the future Raven's Pearl Inn. She got word of the town looking for new entrepeneurs from advertisements the party had made previously. She thought she'd try and open an Inn in a part of the country where Inns were not as ubiquitous as they are in the cities.
