Fire and wind come from the Sky, From the gods of the skiy. But Crom is our god. He lives on the earth. High above the cares of mortal sorrows. He dwells in silence on his mountain top. Long ago, in the darkness of chaos. Crom fought giants and demons to protect the people of earth. He called down fire and wind to aid him and together they slaughtered these monsters and threw their bodies into the waters. But in their rage, The gods left the secret of steel on the battlefield. We men found the sole gift from Crom. And we wrought great wonders to please him. But we also forged weapons of war and bloodshed. High on his mountain throne he watched us through the aeons. And he saw us grow fat and complacent, grow tired and lazy when once we were strong and ruthless. He deemed mankind unworthy of any more gifts. So there he sits atop this mountain. And we who follow him must put our bodies thru the crucible like Steel forged in flame. We fight, and we die, and we live to earn Crom's favor. To one day deem us worthy once more and grant us gifts and protection. But Crom does nothing. Only sits proud on his mountain throne. And so we continue to fight.
Geography
An inhospitable mountain of Ice and cold. Freezing Temperatures and unforgiving winds pervade the mountain passes and plateaus. And wild beasts stalk the snow capped peaks
Fauna & Flora
Savage beasts inhabit plateaus on the mountain. Attacking anything they perceive as prey on sight. No abundance of plant life to speak of.
Natural Resources
Iron enriched soil in the hillside is prized for making stronger steel for weapons and armor. There is said to be a forge somewhere on the mountain that produces +1 and +2 weapons.
