A quiet Human slave girl with a large birthmark in the middle of her face. She serves a blacksmith of the lower city in Mor Toith. Her auburn hair and pale face are smeared in soot but she is treated fairly well compared to slaves in other regions of the Demon Empire.
Her master is a wasteful and unsuccessful Demon smith who relies on her agile hands to do some of the work. She likes forging weapons, ironically enough, which lessens her reticence at working as a beast of choir. While it is believed Susanne is mute, she actually speaks very well in both her native tongue and the Common Imperial. She hides her capacities so that her current awful condition does not become even worse. Demons do not care about age or gender to make use of a resource such as a slave.
Imperial slave owner saw their wares become sparser near the border to the Eastern Realms, not because they are a rare commodity however. The The Second Velian Reforms and the conflict with the Fortern Kingdom encouraged the displacement of Human slaves to the East.
