Sladkóro-in-Arawn
Sladkóro-in-Arawn is the temple-campus in the Kingdom of Scalados dedicated to Arawn, the Wild Dynasty god of death and the hunt. It is carved into the cliffs of the Blue Mountains at the western edge of Scalados, roughly two days' travel south of the town of Ramdailos.
Structure
The temple has been run by Zadok te-Arawn since Y960. His leadership council is larger than at most schools, encompassing the heads of six academic departments instead of the usual four: theology, medicine, martial arts, letters and literature, debate and diplomacy, and wilderness survival.
Culture
The temple-campus prides itself on its ability to subsist off its rugged surroundings. Students are led in squads on hunting expeditions; unusually for warriors pledged to the Wild Dynasty, Arawnian students are trained with the shortbow, longbow, and spear as their first weapons. In seasons where game and forageable foods are limited, the Primo institutes periods of spiritual fasting.
