Ruiménya-in-Dagda

Ruiménya-in-Dagda is the Scaladosian temple-campus dedicated to Dagda, the Wild Dynasty father-god of hearth and harvest. The temple-campus educates clerics and warrior monks, but also contains a large community of cloistered nuns dedicated to tending its fields and its famous orchards. Unlike the other major temple-campuses, it is entirely self-sustaining, and thus typically unaffected by political and economic upheaval elsewhere in Scalados.   The road to Ruiménya-in-Dagda travels along the eastern coast of Scalados for roughly three days' journey by foot from the nearest major city, Enchalmida. Despite this distance, it is relatively frequently visited, both by those in the city and those from the various farming communities of inland central Scalados.

Tourism

Ruiménya-in-Dagda is open to celebrants on all major Wild Dynasty religious holidays and several major secular holidays, including Snowfall's Eve and New Year's Dawn. Its celebration of Daghnasadh each August is particularly well-attended; it is said that half the city of Enchalmida makes the three-day pilgrimage along the coast to offer their harvest and share in the fruits of the orchard.
