Son of Tharzavok

The Son of Tharzavok was a dragonborn warlord who ruled the former dracostate of Tharzavok in the early Second Age. Claiming direct lineage from Tharzavok the Tremendous, he sought a means to rebuild her nation from the ashes of the Night Wars.

History

Second Age

None are certain of the Son's origins, save that he appeared at the head of an army of bandits and cutthroats to take the vacated throne of Tharzavok in 24 2A.
In 64 2A, the Son of Tharzavok hired the Menagerie to help capture the Arqozathi city of Arqo. After years of assault and siege, the contract ended in disaster when the mercenaries – acting on poor information – accidentally assassinated the arqon's diplomat. This caused the incensed warlord to terminate his contract with the company and send them southward with their tail between their legs.

The Menagerie

• Vhakizla: While the Menagerie licked its wounds in Qoza, the Son of Tharzavok hired cutthroats to kill Commander Chimera but was thwared by the mercenaries of her Tent. In truth, however, the cutthroats were actually seeking a book, stolen by Mouse from the Son's library (Chapter 1). When he learned that the company was engaged by Vhakizla far to the south, he reached out to the dracolich, offering to trade the book but Vhakizla demurred (Vhakizla – Chapter 13).
