Arqo
Arqo was the smallest city of Arqozath. Founded in 812 1A as an agricultural center, Arqo would eventually grow into a northern bastion, defending southern Arqozath from incursions by the warlike Tharzavok.
History
Second Age
Following the collapse of the Arqozathi government in 32 2A, Arqo and Qoza, the failed dracostate's two remaining cities, were left to fend for themselves. While many of the citizens of Qoza fled north, the people of Arqo largely remained, deeming themselves far enough away from the Spoils that devastated southern Arqozath. When the Son of Tharzavok took power of Tharzavok in 24 2A, one of his first dictums was to retake Arqo for his budding dracostate. For decades, he waged a war against the standalone city, even hiring the Menagerie in 64 2A to help besiege it. In 67 2A, on the eve of their surrender, however, the mercenary company made a critical error and accidentally assassinated the city's diplomat, ensuring years more war to come.Campaigns
