Cillege

Situated on the eastern coast of Kirinor, due east of Mendhalia, lies the city of Cillege. Its presence along the eastern coast with a harbor protected by Windsmark Island has turned it into one of the most important ports in the Kirinian Empire.
The rich plains to the west of Cillege are heavily farmed and provide much food for the empire and its trading partners. Its location and access to a range of natural resources has turned Cillege into a city of significant importance to the empire and the distance that it is removed, via any mode of travel, from the Dalkori and even potential threats from the Freelands has turned Cillege into a commercial and political powerhouse.
The prosperity of Cillege and its relative importance has also made it a magnet for those wishing to gain power of their own and the political machinations of the elite of Cillege are almost legendary.  The Silken Satchel and The Muddled Brand have heavy presences in the city which is to be expected, but several political groups have also sprung up in the town and threaten to become more than a local nuisance as they spread beyond Cillege.
Cillege's presence alongside the sea is also a factor in its cosmopolitan nature as sailors and merchants from around the world are regular visitors here.  Merchants from Tel even have a permanent presence in the city as a home-base for any trans-continental trade.
