Union of the Three Lotuses
The Union of the Three Lotuses is a political faction within the Phoenix Empire, made up of merchant princes from Near Vishkai, the Naga Kings of Far Vishkai, and the exiled Advisors. While technically considered traitors and exiles by the central government of Fenghuang, the Union's supporters hold that the Tsukimoto merely see them as a threat to their own tyrannical power.
History
The Union of the Three Lotuses began when several merchant-princes of Near Vishkai saw the state of central power. Believing they could take advantage of this for themselves, they sent agents to Shi Kusa, the Exiles' Islands, where the Advisors had been sent following the victory of the Coalition. After freeing the advisors, the princes were promised great rewards and power.
