The First Coalition
The Coalition (technically the Coalition for the Emperor's Authority) is a political faction within the Phoenix Empire. Originally founded by Shogun Izanagi of the Tsukimoto in 288 3E in opposition to the Thirteen Advisors, a coterie of influential bureaucrats who had effectively usurped authority from the Phoenix Emperor, the coalition grew to encompass large areas of Qikuo and winning the War of the Coalition. The coalition dissolved following the war and the exile of the Advisors to the isles.
