Rose Kingdoms

The Rose Kingdoms were the predecessors of the Phoenix Empire, a series of polities centered around the floodplains of north-central Qikuo. Their name comes from the petal-like appearance their various territories had drawn on a map. The Rose Kingdoms still exist today as subdivisions of the modern empire, and are ruled directly by the Phoenix Emperor as his own personal holdings. They are traditionally the cultural and economic heart of Qikuo.
