Ashburning Cake

From these ashes, I call out for your blessing to this person one last time Rhyn! Let them rest, let them fall into your arms, let Baalalem send one of Their Headsmen to let this person rest below the earth, at peace, forever to the ground they go again.

Rowian
Rowians' connection to Rhyn have them on the opposite end with all of the Gods of the Dead. Orio cares only for the dead in battle, Reliona cares for the dead of battle, women and children and while Baalalem should care for all, They are known for not liking Rhyn and His worshippers. To appease the God of the Dead and Their Headsmen, Rowians who are especially connected to Rhyn have carried out this blessing to make sure their dead will rest eternally and return to nature. The asburning cake is one of the elements in this ritual, where a blessing is said over it and while eaten by the mournful a piece of it is given to the descended as a parting gift, both to them and to Baalalem.
The ashburning cake is made with the burning ash of willowtree, hence the name, and flour. Baalalem is a known sweats lover and as such the cake is given a sweetness from various plants and also to cover the burnt bark taste. Aluthough, the burnt bark taste needs to still be felt for it to be perfect, leaving a bitter sweetness for the dead so that the living can remember the sadness of the passing. The baker should be the closest relative, preferably child or parent.
