Session 81 - Hot Streak

General Summary

We rejoined our Misfits in the middle of a hectic battle against the Demons! Sasha assumed control of the crew and had them fire the ballistas at the enemy, inadvertently cracking the ship’s hull in half and sending it sinking into the deep. Finn, from the water, attempted to get his hands on some loot. His efforts were rewarded with a sparse collection of supplies held in barrels, which could be sold for a sum of 300 gold.
In the aftermath of the skirmish, the entire crew took to making repairs to the ship. Finn informed Sasha, Hamilton, and Eleanor about Revolt's apparent ineffectiveness on Zso, to their surprise. Hamilton insisted that they couldn’t be sure just yet, however.
The crew worked hard into the evening fixing the ship, and rewarded their hard work with a nice meal cooked by Eleanor. The crew was reveling in their victory, but Sasha noticed her brother, Dimo, was eating alone.
Sasha tried to connect with her brother, but when she brought up the past, he snapped at her and told her to “move on”. Sasha was obviously upset, and that seemed to be enough to elicit an apology from Dimo. The siblings had a good dinner after that.
Sailing was uneventful for a while after that. At one point, Sasha tried to help Eleanor with her cooking responsibilities, but found that she seemed off. When approached about this, Eleanor insisted she was fine.
Later that night, Eleanor talked to Hamilton out on the deck. She told him about her want to tell Sasha something she needs to say, in case something happened to either of them. Hamilton encouraged her to face her problems, rather than run from them. The two shared a hug, and Eleanor assured Hamilton that they would find Delilah.
The next day, a swarm of Fangfish tore at the hull of the ship. Everyone tried to implement their own tactics, and with their combined efforts, they stopped the attack almost as quickly as it started.
Things were yet again quiet for some time. On the final day, Finn found Grant and Atticus out on the deck. They reminisced with Finn on the early days of the Reapers. Grant said that he believed the Captain would want Finn to be better than him. And in Grant’s eyes, he was.
As they approached the Roaring Isle at last, Finn addressed his crew one more time. In a refreshing moment that brought the young and old of the crew together, they raised their glasses to their captain.
The ship came ashore on the Roaring Isle. Dimo quickly led Sasha, Hamilton, and Finn in search of the Revolt. They discovered remnants of the civilization constructed by Jinskarr's crew over the years they were stranded, and notably found some bandages and a picture of a young Jinskarr and Hugo.
The Misfits finally found the Revolt stowed in barrels, stashed away in a wooden hut. However, a trap sprung when they tried to remove the barrels, sending Sasha tumbling into a pit. Hamilton then felt a sharp poke in his back, and looked back to find a grizzled figure pointed a harpoon gun at them.
