Session 25 - The First Carriage Falls
General Summary
On the way to Remington Kingdom, the party suddenly heard a low rumbling. Coming in from the distance, the Traveling Forest came into view. In a sudden turn of events, the forest swallowed up not only the carriage, but everyone else!
One by one, the party helped one another get out of the tangle of brances. Hamilton bravely saved Peanut from harm, but at the end of it all, the carriage was in pieces.
Hamilton tried to fix what he could, while Sasha and Finn debated on how to proceed. With no other choice, they were forced to walk toward Remington after that. Morale low, they ran into an unexpected person: Hans Dumont, co-founder of HansPuckett!
With the help of his Servo steed, Rod, the party was brought all the way to Remington. They all checked in on their loved ones inside the Kingdom, and saw preparations being made for some kind of festival.
Cookie and Oscar were playing inside Castle Remington. Sidge was up and about, although he was now confined to a wheelchair. He told Sasha that he was no longer a Guardian of Remington, but reassured her that there were no hard feelings.
Queen Elysia summoned the party to a secret chamber within the castle. It was there she revealed the body of the troll that attacked Remington. Elysia explained that there were suspicions that the attack was not random, and she was tasking the party with uncovering the truth!
