Session 13 - The Macabre Brothers
General Summary
Our Misfits were in a battle against the Macabre Brothers! Raj and Remus charged the party with reckless abandon, while Oscar hid in a nearby cabinet. Remus, the smaller of the two, was dealt with first, sending Raj into a rage over his brother's death. After he too was vanquished, Hamilton picked up Remus' Macabre Blades and pocketed them.
The party went to get Oscar, who swung at them with a small knife. He clearly had grown to care somewhat for the brothers, and saw the party as a threat. After calming him down, they escorted Oscar out of the ranch. Valentine, wearing a mask to obscure his appearance from Oscar, was happy to see the party returning in one piece. He took back the Culverin, and walked with them back to Emmett to report in.
Upon returning to the SlawterHaus, which had been closed for the time being, Blanche was quick to bind Oscar to a chair and begin interrogating him on The Order. Things quickly escalated, until the party intervened, threatening Blanche. This seemed to snap her out of it, and she resigned to letting them take Oscar.
With Oscar retrieved, the party began their walk back to Luxury Acres. Oscar made it clear he wasn't a fan of the party, especially Sasha, who made it equally clear she wasn't a fan of him. The two bickered back and forth until they arrived at Luxury Acres.
They learned that Cookie had been gifted a small booklet to wear around her neck, where she could write words and phrases she wanted to remember. Eleanor was very excited to see the others again, and now reunited, everyone headed back to Remington Kingdom! As they left, Eleanor informed the others that while they were gone, a Remington convoy led by Aldo dropped by and got into a heated argument with Reginald Barnette.
Shortly after beginning their travels, however, the party ran into a group of people who were supposedly Remington guards. The party quickly discovered that they were nothing more than bandits in scraps of Remington armor. Upon being found out, they attacked!
