The most Deepward of the star systems in the Inner System, impending overpopulation estimates in the
Alalus System and
Leporis System during the 200s AFT had the Core Senate seeking to expand the presence of humanity in the Orionis Cluster once again. With the aid of Hatch Aviation and Jetechnologies, the terraforming equipment was organized and arrived in 205 AFT and sent and then later two starships - Blade of Occam and Star of Saura - arrived to begin the first settlement on Bajy Ridi's Landing in 207 AFT.
By and large Ortasto is described as a
drab system. With only three planets, it is certainly one of the smallest system (only matched with the
Jordani System in planetoid number) and its three planets have little in the way of excitement. Bajy Ridi's Landing, with its broad mix of swathes of flat plains and crooked canyons, does have an expansive racing community but that is dominated by gamblers and criminals. Other than that, there is little traffic from outsiders into the system except for transports bringing supplies and goods from other systems.
Geography
Ortasto is made up of three planets and falls on the edge of the Inner System, skirting towards Deep Range space. It's sun, Eyi, is one of the smaller amongst the system suns.
