Jordani System

Come for the trading...stay for the slave labor.

Jordani is one of the smaller inhabited systems but it is historically one of the cruelest. Those who have means says that that has changed...but I have spoken to those who live in the dirt. And they still burn with the need for equality.

Geography

Jordani is a star system made up of only three planets. Two are semi-habitable and one has been occupied since the discovery of the system.

History

While the system is well known for its slaves, since the rebellion on Strana centuries ago that practice has been locked down to the planet itself. Instead the system has been slowly building a reputation for good trading and manufacturing of mech systems...although one can profit from the slave trade too still (so long as you're alright with calling Strana home).

Anapel

The planet closest to the sun in the system, Anapel is semi-habitable due to the fact that it is a giant desert. While there are a few cities on the planet, they are all largely underground or built into mountains and it is sometimes hard to access them due to frequent windstorms.

Strana

The second planet in the system, Strana is the planet that has been the longest-occupied. Once a planet purely built on the backs of slaves, there was a revolt centuries before after a disaster that broke the backbone of known space. Since then the slave system was reworked to allow slaves to actually rise in power.

Sycia's Stand (originally W'Renge)

Jordani's third planet largely remained uninhabited in the history of the system until some time during the slave uprisings on Strana. During the first years of the uprisings, one of the major faces of the revolt was Sycia Sanghvi, who at one point took over several ships with her followers and flew them to W'Renge in an attempt to set up a new home for the uprising to strike from. Not only was the planet more difficult to inhabit than expected (mostly due to very violent animal and planet life) but the richest families on Strana put a high bounty on her head as well as sending out their own personal armies after her. Her final stand became a thing of legend to the uprising and when they won, the planet was officially renamed and a memorial was built at where she and her men fell.
