The only source of Dynamesium, most precious ore in the Cluster

The closest planet to the sun in the system, C'Phini is unable to be occupied due not only to its lack of atmosphere but the intense heat so close to Alalus' sun. C'Phini is, however, the only known source of Dynamesium, the ore that has famously been forged into the armor of the Silver Soldiers since they were established. All of the mining operations themselves are done through manually controlled robots as the delicate components that make even the simplest artificial intelligence function are unable to work in the high heat of the planet.
Since it's discovery in 40 AFT, C'Phini hasn't had much of a history except for which mining company has it's hands on the contracts to mine there. Only four companies in the entire history of the Cluster have been given the mining contracts there: Milnic Industrial Corporation and BPW Industrial Group (pre-Collapse), Han Industrial (post-Collapse), and currently Exadev Integrated Logistics (which bought out Han Industrial and its contract when the business went under).

Geography

C'Phini is a planet of rock and molten ore. With an atmosphere that doesn't allow for even the most sophisticated breathing apparatus and an intense heat, the only way to see it's surface is through the heat-shielded mining robots that Exadev Integrated Logistics uses there. No historical evidence of an ecosystem of any kind has ever been discovered on C'Phini. Scientists theorize that not only does the lava rising and expanding outwards makes it inhospitable to life but the lack of atmosphere as well.

Localized Phenomena

Due to it's proximity to Helios, mining operators have to be on the lookout for lava surges. These occur at times when the planet is on the close swing to the sun and the gravity of the star causes the molten ore and rock to rise up into an approximation of waves. While these surges are usually brief, they can quickly destroy even the best heat-shielded robot and causes massive losses to ore production.

Climate

The heat from Alalus' sun Helios gives the planet ambient temperatures that no human could survive, not even with the best exo-suit. Due to its lava core, the temperatures arising from the surface of the planet would also be too much for any human. Years of research had to go into making robots that were capable of withstanding the temperatures of C'Phini and even in modern times the machines will be retrieved with melted spots on their tires or heat scorched metal on their frames.

Flora & Fauna

Scientists who have accompanied mining crews over many years to observe their work have seen no evidence of flora or fauna having ever existed on C'Phini. Any efforts to find evidence of such ceased pre-Collapse.

Natural Resources

C'Phini is the only known source for the ore known as Dynamesium. Not only is it famous for having been used to forge the armor of the Silver Soldiers, it is also the strongest ore in the Cluster. It's use is entirely controlled by the Silver Soldiers and anyone found stealing Dynamesium will be heavily prosecuted.
It's moons, Billadassa and Virgo, are also mined but they only produce light metals in their yield (ex: Lithium, Cobalt, Titanium, Magnesium, Beryllium).
