Although the ore was discovered in 40 AFT when scanners picked it up during the terraforming process on nearby Ilaan, the ore was actually not able to be mined until eighty years later. This was not only because it took decades of testing and developing the mining robots but also companies were fiercely competing for the mining rights on the planet. Eventually two won out: Milnic Industrial Corporation and BPW Industrial Group.
