The Forewarners
Damn charlatans and fools... don't let them have you with their so-called wisdom boy... we are not so naive.The forewarners are a group of elves sworn to advise and guide The Kae .
They are pilgrims who travel from village to village across Kaechaek to preach warnings about The Quori and The Nocta Mori and the dangers of fraternising with the powers of dreams and nightmares.
They sell intricate Dream Trinkets and Omamori Tokens along with other items of superstition for their power within Kaechaek (iron horse shoes, rabbit feet etc). This is their only form of income so you will usually find them setting up stalls or travelling with carts or carriages. Forewarners are rare to find in the same place twice due to their dwindling numbers and their need to constantly travel to spread their knowledge to the next generation of Kae people. Due to them being known as 'snake oil salesmen' in many of the foreign barony's they are rare to find in or around any of them. Recruitment by the forewarners is unheard of and going by the age of it's members it seems they were all born close to the last Long Night . It is unknown the reason to why they don't have any new members.
