Fields of slaughter
The Fields of Slaughter are the first layer of the Abyss and belong to Yeenoghu. The landscape is barren hills, with sparce trees, which look more like spike covered bushes than trees. The landscape is covered with a thick fog, and the smell of rotting flesh and death permeates the air. The denizens are Gnolls, Hyenas, Demon loyal to Yeenoghu, and any Daemons that are powerful enough to be able to either hunt or scavenge there. The more one goes towards the center, the more battles are happening, as each demon seeks to slaughter one another to appease their Lord, and in the center, the champions of Yeenoghu battle him and each other, in a savage battle that is only interrupted when Yeenoghu turns his gaze to the material plane.
