Pentus
Pentus is the second largest continent. It is very tropical across the majority of the land, with the coasts on either end recieving a lot of rain too. This very heavily forested landscape is not only ripe with the fruits of the forests, but also the tension between two cultures. The north and the south have very different cultures due to the differences in races between them, with the north being ecologically minded, and the south being technologically minded. The south has the largest proportion of Dragonborns throughout the world, whereas the north is populated more by elves. There are many available resources left in these bountiful, rich jungles, but also many dangers, such as the yearly migration of the huge flying dinosaurs from the Maldeves.
Geography
Pentus is dominated by diverse forests, from the temperate to the tropical. The north west coast is especially rainy, though the same is true of the east coast. The land could be considered as two parts; a large and roughly circular northern section, a slightly smaller rounded southern section, and a land bridge between the two. A large mountain range travels, though not continuously, along the eastern coast. As a result of the higher altitudes of the east compared to the west, the whole continent has the appearance that it is tilted. The tallest volcano in the world and the site of the portal to the elemental plane of fire, Mount Justice, is also found on this continent.
Fauna & Flora
With the high biodiversity expected of forests, both tropical and temperate, rainy and dry, there are many creatures and monsters that make this continent their home. Given the high populations of dragonborn and their kingdoms in the south of pentus, it may not come as a surprise that mythic dragons are said to live within the dense jungles or mountain ranges of Pentus. Though dragons do exist on other continents like The Maldeves, the smaller size of Pentus makes the existing dragons more well known as they live closer to places where people have settled. One of the more interesting aspects of the fauna on Pentus is, due to its relationship and proximity with the Calgari Islands, there is a notable migration once a year of the avian dinosaurs that still occupy the islands. Though their numbers are not very high, their size makes it an impressive display non-the-less. They migrate towards the warmer, wetter rainforests in north west Pentus during the warm summer months to breed when their native island grows too cold, then return home as the climate shifts and their new hatchlings are able to fly.
Natural Resources
Being heavily forested, wood is a very common resource, and the rich soils also result in strong agriculture. The large amount of elves in the north results in some restrictions in how much of the forest is designated as harvestable, and how much is considered protected. The protected areas are treated as hunting grounds and nature reserves. The elves are also well known as skilled woodcarvers and carpenters, adding a unique twist by having specific trees grow into objects like chairs without the use of magic to be more environmentally friendly, and trade in such goods. Meanwhile, the higher population of dragonborn in the south has a very different culture, with more focus on technological developments, with and without the use of magic, and mines within the eastern mountain ranges. The mines sometimes over-extend their reach into elven-protected forests, becoming a point of contention between the two cultures of the north and south. Silk is also a very common and very valuable resources that both cultures have access to and often trade with, especially the Dragonborn kingdoms that act as a trading kingdom with other countries.

Pentus Midlands
This is the mid section of the second largest continent, Pentus. This is dominated by tropical forests and mountains. It's a very warm section around the equator, and acts as a land bridge between the north and south sections of Pentus. Control over this strategic passing has always been long contested by kingdoms over the years due to its value in controlling the trade between the north and south. -
Southern Pentus
This is the southern section of the second largest continent, Pentus. It is dominated by tropical forests, but also rainforests that curve along the eastern coast. In those rainforests are some of the most populous and profitable coastal cities, all part of the dragonborn kingdom Akabahputzuk. -
Northern Pentus
This is the north section of the second largest continent, Pentus. It's dominated by many forests, both of the temporate and tropical variety. It also recieves a large amount of rain and very modest seasonal variance. It's also more likely to be affected by typhoons and tornados and other natural disasters. The warm temperatures and abundant resources results in a lot of settlements, which can also result in a lot of conflict and competition for land
