The Power of Earth Staff is a powerful item of AP that is currently in the hands of the Prime Merlinean, Baxter Jevon Oran Belief (nee Baggs) . It is the only known staff of Ancient Power that was formerly Merin's Staff. It was held in trust by Ancient Power over thousands of years until it could be passed to his last living descendant known as the Prime Merlinean.   This item is most sacred and important to Ancient Power as it grows in power. It is also one item that could spell disaster if the wrong hands had it. After Baxter grows in power and has other staffs as his role expands, this staff is kept locked in the Ancient Power Archives unless it is needed.  

Description

The Power of Earthly Magic Staff was made from an ancient wood no longer in existence. And there is no modern equivalent. The closest might be Ebony Wood. However, there is no known notes of this staff left for Baxter or the community.   It is five feet and ten inches tall of wood with several colors (Ruby Red, Sapphire/Emerald Green, Teal Blue, Amethyst Purple) of unknown oval-shaped gems and crystals above the handgrip. On the top, a sacred Rainbow Aura Quartz Crystal Ball sits covered in dragon claws for protection.

Background Powers of Baxter

Magic and Ability Bestowment/Giving and Title Bestowal: In his ceremony, Baxter is asked to take the Earth’s Mystical Guardians Oath then use an incantation. Colors of the rainbow swirl around him while a white bright light shoots up from the Ley Lines of Earth via the North Pole. It is now Baxter is Prime Merlinean and Guardian of Belief.   Ancient and Mystical Empowerment/Affinity (Combo of Ancient Empowerment/Affinity and Mystic Empowerment/Affinity): Baxter is empowered by the Ancient Civilizations, Camelot, and events that led to the modern era of AEP land the return of AEP.   He is also stronger when he and the other Guardians of Childhood use their magic together or when he is at a Mystical Monument or at either Pole (North and South) AKA Baxter is stronger when he comes in contact with mystic beings, places and/or energies.   Power and Spell/Magic Amplification/Augmentation: When Baxter follows destiny, it is known that he is strong in AEP. That power gets stronger when he uses any mystical items or near powerful ley lines (such as those that converge at either Pole (North and South)). Also, the entire Guardians of Childhood enhance AEP when they do their solstice ceremony to return some back into the planet.   When Ancient Earthly Power’s Grand High Age dawns, AEP is returned to the level it once was. This means each Guardian now has amplified powers (including Baxter who unlocks some new abilities) and all species now have full strength in their powers. The ability to speak in ancient tongues and that mortals can see mystical creatures and supernatural occurrences.   Mystical Aura/Power/Radiance: Baxter has a strong aura of power surrounding him. All Guardians do. This energy also makes it known that he possesses immensely strong magical properties. Coincidentally, his magical aura is also the strongest and most powerful.   Spell Casting/Magical Incantation: As the Prime Merlinean, he can use spells that do whatever he wants them to do. These series of incantations or specific thoughts, gestures, rituals and other actions can do anything. Many verbal spells are in Latin or other ancient languages. But he can also knows there are ways around verbal incantations.   Magic Detection/Sense “Third-Eye View or Remote Viewing”: Through the mystical sense of second sight or remote viewing, High-Level Mystics (Baxter and the Rulers, Species Leaders, and those of other realms) have the ability to detect sources from other supernatural entities and mystical items.   This perception allows others to see friendlies or enemies or unknowns. They can also detect hidden places or objects as well. User can sense the presence of magic/magical energies and possibly gain detailed understanding about the magic/magical energies they are sensing, including the amount/size of magic/magical energies they are sensing and whether they are hidden.   Location Analysis: As a sub-ability of Magic Sense, Baxter and others can analyze locations for signs of magic usage and beings. They can also detect portals if they are forming or dissipating with this ability.   The Gift of Invisibility: This gift makes all Guardians the ability to render themselves by the naked eye. All but Baxter use it when they go about their business when they enter Earth’s Land of Men. However, he can move about an environment unseen by others and act without being observed. Some users can choose to let certain people see them, while staying invisible to others.   Magic Amalgamation/Unification: This power is used in the background when Ancient Power is connected to other lands and it allows all to use their powers on Earth.   It is also used when beings from multiple realms and of varying levels wish to rid the world of evil beings. User can unify different types of magic, combining their advantages and possibly creating stronger form of magic.  

In-Use Powers of Baxter

Immortality: As Prime Merlinean and Guardian of Belief, Baxter cannot die by any conventional means.   Omnilingualism/All-Tongue: “The Gift of Universal Translation” is to be able to speak, write, understand and communicate in any language, sign language (even lip-reading), alien languages that have never been heard before, reading body language, and backwards speech and writing with little or no training.   Zoolingualism: A subset (variation) of Omnilingualism that allows the user to understand the speech or emotions of animal life forms. This ability is quite uncommon and multifaceted. Some users are able to understand animals in every imaginable way, which results in enormous knowledge and foreseeability of their actions.   Magical and Pure Heart “Child’s Pathway”: Baxter possesses a heart devoid of cruelty, destruction, and desolation. His heart is that of Light and of goodness. It is this that his heart is a true heart of childhood and so his belief in Magic allows him to look through his eyes and view mystical beings, locations, and objects.   Ancestral/Family Wizardry/Magic (Family Empowerment) ”Magic of the Ancestors”: Baxter has his exceptional powers through his ancestor named Merlin. The magic in his bloodline eventually died down genetically until it drastically appeared in him.   He is able to access anything of AEP. Magical energies? Yes. Powers? Yes. Objects? Yes. Spells? Yes.   He becomes more stronger over time as AEP gains strength from belief. This enhances his existing powers and can unlock more abilities. All from his family bonds and the increase in belief of AEP.   Magical Energy Manipulation (Ley Lines and Aether): Baxter can use the Ley Lines and Aether. Baxter is able to bend the mystic forces (Ley Lines and Aether) of Earth to use in spells or rituals or as a daily occurrence.   Aether and Ley Lines Empowerment and Detection: Baxter becomes stronger when the lines and Spirits are strong and AEP is restored. Baxter can feel them whenever he closes his eyes.   Magic Intuitive Aptitude “AEP Magicology Mastery” “AEP Magic Mastery”: This ability gives Baxter an instant and innate understanding of Ancient Power on Earth, his newfound powers and job responsibilities. Baxter gains a number of abilities but he doesn’t gain all of them quite yet.   Teleportation (Magiportation) (Master Level): Baxter is capable of teleporting on a planetary scale, moving anywhere on the planet. He can take people with him if he chooses to.   Mystical Species Bonding/Companionship (Unicorns, Alicorns/Pegasi, Dragons, ETC.): The alliance formed by mystical species and humans eventually became something much more. Those who work with Alicorns, Gryphons, Dragons, Unicorns and many others understand them and care for them like family. Those who want to pull carriages, coaches, wagons, and sleighs do.   The Gift of Flight, Chariot Riders Aptitude and Vehicle Mastery: Baxter is a master at driving a vehicle pulled by mystical species who are either land or air animals. This mastery or expertise is from AEP Magic Intuitive Aptitude.
