Carrier

A carrier is the largest class of military vessels in the Stenza space fleet, although it does not see active engagement. Instead it serves as a mobile command base on which the officers (sometimes barring the Third Officer and Fourth Officer, depending upon the clan's mores and the needs of the engagement), from which strategy could be devised and orders issued.
Carriers are also the vessels from which smaller vessels launch during a conflict. Smaller carriers hold Pods and similar-sized vessels, and larger carriers can support Cruisers and certain fairly small Battleships, depending on their size.
In a strictly technical sense, because the Praetorian Guard is attached to the Lawgiver, and because the Lawgiver can support a truly astonishing shuttle bay, that vessel counts as a carrier. It is not, however, labeled as such.
