Settledusk - The Twilight City
"Left my heart in Settledusk city, where the wine flows free and the land's so pretty. I made me a fortune in a moment of heat, but by the middle of the night i'd naught but wheat."Headed by Marquis Feodor Melchior, this city is one of the largest exporters of lumber and textiles in the southern half of Alloyus, second only to Gateway. Since its founding, it strives to create the same culture and fortitude of a Feroxian city. Because of this attitude, it is considered one of the first truly Imperial Cities in Alloyus.Chorus for the "The Twilight City"

Districts
Settledusk Consists of 7 Official Districts. They are:
- Capitol Island: Where Feodor Melchior resides, along with the other nobility thay call Settledusk home. It is a walled portion in the northeasternmost part of the city. It has a park, a garden, and it's own private port to recieve specialty items. It is also surrounded by a man made mote that hosts the yearly White Wall Boat Races. In the winter the mote freezes, and people across the town like to skate.
- Eastern Settledusk: The area just outside capitol island. It's where the majority of Merchants stay, due to its proximity to Sunset Park, the Harbor, The Mother Sun Church, and the University.
- Sunset Park: The entertainment district in Settledusk. Home to the Melchior Stadium, where people can compete in feats of skill, combat, and athleticism. Once per month, the Tournament of Dragons is held, where the greatest warriors can battle one another for glory and prizes, overseen by the Master of Ceremonies himself: Hiran De'Arianwen. It is also the location of the famous Singing Ship: The Moontether.
- Western Settledusk: The most heavily populated area of Settledusk. This is where most of the restaraunts, travelers, and trades people stay, as well as the majority of the city's residents. It is home to Settledusk Academy, as well as the Settledusk Municipal Buildings and Pentitentiary. Most people coming from Voyager Road end up here, and will be greeted by the merchants of Settledusk Western Market by the West Gate.
- Southern Settledusk: Where the majority of the serfs reside. It is also home to the Father Moon and Dawn Warrior churches. This area makes up the bulk of the farmland that feeds the people of the city. Those who come from the Balthazar Region, or from the Southern Melchior often enter through the Southern Gate.
- Dusk Harbor: The Harbor where the goods and services are held. The vast Majority of goods come through here and it boasts the largest selection of goods and rare minerals. As such, most of the scholars, mages, and arcanists live here alongside the sailors and trades people. This area is also beside the Akacheta Settlement, known colloquially as the Roost, or the Birdcage.
- Orlando's Stand: The historical center of Settledusk. Once the seat of the Lord's place, it holds a greater significance of where the great warrior Olandro, alongside many other Voyagers, won a protracted battle against the Ta'LeSharo. It is now, unfortunately, conisdered the least desireable place to reside in Settledusk. It has a reputation of being a place full of crime, though the truth is much more complex. In spite of this, many people still come to enjoy in the local cuisine and culture, as well as the tight knit communities of found families and neer'do'wells. Some joke that it's "The Sunset Park you can afford."
- The Birdcage: The local settlement for the Akacheta Tribe: The Singing Quail. The majority of their numbers include Aaracockra and Owlen. They grow the majority of the local produce, despite having a smaller size of farms. They are also tasked with ensuring the lumber yard operates smoothly should Ta'LeSharo emerge from the Ci'Encaras Forest.
- Settledusk University: A local university that also houses the local Dusk Mage church. Students come from all over the Southern half of Alloyus to attend and learn valuable trade.
- Little Arumo: A small collection of Arumo immigrants who reside beside the university. This place holds many of the trappings of Arumo culture, albeit with an Alloyan twist.
- Settledusk Municipal and Penitentiary: The local municipal building that holds court, processes legal matters, and houses the criminals. The majority of people who work here are either interns from the university, or paid Legionaires who have been deputized by the Captain of the Guard. Those who reside in the penitentiary are either occasionally allowed to work the fields for money, or if they're too dangerous to be allowed in public, must work the mines.
- Gyall'Barri: the local Argenti community that sprung up around the Dawn Warrior church. This place is full of trades people and is often working with the Municipal building to provide skilled workers. It is also home to the only Mastersmith forge in Settledusk that is not behind the Capitol Island's walls.
- Medina: The local Curpum community that sprung up around the Father Moon church. It is a small but tightly knit community that works hard to bless the land and keep the town's balance. The people who live here work hard to bring Cuprum culture to Settledusk, and are the ones who host a variety of gardening classes, and medical practices. They also have a stage for performances that are considered too macabre or risky for the average purveyor of the arts.
- Ci'Encaras: The Forest beside the town. It used to cover significantly more of Settledusk before they used the wood for infrastructure. It is said to be cursed, and that the vestiges of the Ta'LeSharo that were driven from these lands still reside, waiting for their moment to strike.

Though not a nobleman himself, his work has graciously served the nobles that reside within his town's walls, as well as the growing merchant and trades classes that benefit from his work.
