Morgath Character in Misty Isle of Harn | World Anvil

Morgath

Much of the inspiration and details was developed from Colombia Games information.

God

Morgath is the God of Chaos, Evil, Insanity, Violence, and above all the Undead.

He hates all things just, fair and noble. He is the insane master of the Shadow of Bukrai.

It is said Morgath, the greatest of Gods was besieged in his castle by three other powerful Gods. Knowing that their combined strength would surely overwhelm him he fled through shadow and came to a lifeless world where Bukrai lay, seized the orb, gazed within. He gained unlimited power, used it to completely destroying the opposing Gods, but at the cost of his sanity. He is now consumed by hate, malice, the desire to destroy and inflict terror.

Morgath now plots while his worshipers feed souls to the Bukai, growing its strength, all the while he gains more mastery over its power. As what is left of his sanity slowly slips away, he looks forward to the day he can unleash it's evil on the universe, and all will lost.
