List of Renegade Spellcasters

The following is a list of some of the renegade magic users. These individuals have broken one or more of the mandated guild laws or rules. The penalty is death, and it is expected that any guild member is expected to act against a renegade and, if they are unable to do so, then report their activities to the guild.

Note that the guild is usually very careful in declaring a magic-user renegade. It will not allow personal vendettas or criminal actions not involving magic to be used as evidence. It generally gives an individual the benefit of the doubt and warnings for minor violations of the rules, especially in self-defense cases. However, clear-cut breaches are dealt with quickly and, for the most part, fairly.

Sex: Female
Rank: Viran (Grandmistress) in the Savorya Magical Society and grand aunt of the King.
Arcana: An expert manipulator and has access to several powerful Earthmaster artifacts.
Year Made Renegade: 712TR in The Kingdom of Melderyn, by decree of the The Council of Eleven.
Reason: Undisclosed. Dyalne is the most wanted Wizard on the Renegade list and is believed to be the most dangerous.
Distinguishing Features: A thin ancient woman believed to be using magic to extend her life and disguise her identity.

Quazzy (The Raven Woman).

Year Born: around 700TR
Sex: Female
Rank: "Natural'' Spellcaster
Arcana: Cultist and Necromancer.
Year Made Renegade: 720TR in the Thardic Republic.
Reason: Quazzy committed murder, killing her former friend Yureb in public with an explosive spell.
Distinguishing Features: A thin albino woman with a haunted look in her light blue eyes.

Year Made Renegade: 722TR in the Kingdom of Melderyn. Refer Session 122 - Betrayal Most Foul
Reason: Attempted murder of guild members. Stealing from the guild. Found to be working with the known renegade Dyalne Dulye and involved in plots to resurrect extinct Orc species.

Year Born: 671TR
Year Died: Was killed by Jolanta in 724TR. Refer Session 232 - Frozen Battle.
Sex: Female
Rank: Shenava (Master) in the Fyvria Magical Society
Arcana: Necromancer, Blood Magic and Flesh Golems
Year Made Renegade: 701TR in the Thardic Republic
Reason: Brought Scorn on the Guild of Arcane Lore. Animating the dead to murder a member of a senatorial family. Corpse stealing and desecration. She is known to have worked closely with the Church of Morgath.
Distinguishing Features: Blonde-haired woman, but could have been using her Arcana to appear or become younger.

Arcana: Blood magic and psionics.
Reason: Murder and experimentation on peasants. She may have used her magic to extend her life.

Year Died: Brought to Justice in 720TR and killed by Quazzy (who was in disguise at the time). Refer Session 037 - Downtime before the Storm.

Year Made Renegade: 718TR in the Thardic Republic
Reason: Brought Scorn on the Guild of Arcane Lore. Used magic to murder in front of multiple witnesses.
Distinguishing Features: Sandy-colored hair, eyes grey, which glow white when using magic.

Distinguishing Features: A huge ugly, blue-eyed, blond obese woman with sharpened teeth. Of Ivinian decent, she claimed to be the daughter of the God Sarajin.

Year Made Renegade: 697TR in Shorkyne
Reason: Brought Scorn on the Guild of Arcane Lore. Used alchemy to murder in front of multiple witnesses. Unsanctioned spreading of magical lore. Failed to keep the Guildhall from harm. Stole artifacts from the guild. Used unsanctioned magic. Demon Cult Member. Used magic to run a criminal enterprise.
Distinguishing Features: A six-fingered hunchback.

Reason: Brought Scorn on the Guild of Arcane Lore. He used his magic to interfere in a religious dispute. He incinerated a small squad of Checkered Shield Knights while working with Copper Hook raiding party. He is believed to operate in Rethem, working with the Clerical Order of the Fuming Gate.
