The Council of Eleven Organization in Misty Isle of Harn | World Anvil

The Council of Eleven

The Council of Eleven is a rumored covert organization said to be the true rulers of the Kingdom of Melderyn. Some even say that they are far more than advisors to the King; they are a shadowy force of Wizards manipulating the Hârnic Kingdoms for centuries. Their existence is common knowledge among the clergy, the learned, and the nobility, however, their membership and responsibilities are known to very few.

Created by King Erebir in 12 TR, the council was intended to provide the Kings of Melderyn with the best possible advice.

They appoint their own members, arrange the education of the King’s children, and rule on various matters, including royal succession. The King rarely acts against their advice.
