History
The Seven Wizards of Mirydain built the castle of Dinas Caradorn over seven hundred years ago for King Isandor when he became ruler of Gonnarch. They fashioned it from white stone and capped its towers with gold from the hills on which the great city rested. The windows of the castle were fashioned from fine glass and the walls adorned with tapestries detailing stories from Mirydain’s older times, and in the throne room were placed statues of the first Lords of the Ten Cities. King Isandor ruled from Dinas Caradorn in great splendor, and people from all over the land came to see his city. However, Dinas Caradorn was left in the hands of the seneschals after the death of King Idileig until David McKay and Ginny Langford defeated the Dark King and became the first rulers of all of Mirydain.
