Gonnarch
Gonnarch is one of the kingdoms of Men in the magical land of Mirydain. It is the largest of the lands of Men and home to the castle Dinas Caradorn and the Ten Cities of Mirydain.
Geography
Gonnarch is a grassland with sparse woods, fields, and hills. The Aurminjid Mountains lie further north, separating the lands of Men from the Dwarves, while the mountains to the south divide Gonnarch from Calidurn. The river Abhainach, the great river of Mirydain, flows through the land to the Great Sea. The land is home to many villages of Men and a few cities as well, the largest of which is Dinas Caradorn.
Fauna & Flora
Plants such as lionsprig, lilins, and wraithsbane grow throughout Gonnarch on the grasslands and hills. Talking Beasts such as lions and bears are known to roam the region, but Men are the chief inhabitants of Gonnarch.
Natural Resources
Wood and stone supply resources for building while the farmland of Gonnarch supplies food for the people. Metals from the mountains of Aurminjid supply the people with wealth. The great river Abhainach gives fresh water to the people and animals of the region.
