Tegalk’roebonet Garbone Benoist (a.k.a. Garby, Small Fire)
A bashful ivierae with an interest in freedom and adventure, but a problem with self worth.
Physical Description
Chubby, and has a chronic pain in their left knee, causing them to lean to the right.
Pale skin, and a tear in the iris in their third eye.
Markings all over their face. Bubbly gray with vibrant purple eyes, and black rings on the whites of their eyes, brought on by being at the receiving end of the fear spell multiple times in one go.
Walks with a slight limp, leans to the right, and will occasionally tick.
Their special ability is mind control, although it's very weak. Even those with below average willpower wouldn't have much of a hard time resisting their power. luckily, they also have the ability to more easily resist mind control from others. When they’re too stressed and on the verge of a panic attack, they’ll go into a self-induced trance. In this state their third eye will go into REM mode, and won't be able to affect others as it normally would.
Has a gittern and harpsichord, though for obvious reasons just carries around a gittern. They got both instruments custom made; the gittern from Highking Gyala, and the harpsichord from the court wizard; Hyalbtz.
Mental characteristics
Born into the Benoist family, they were forced into working in the family business along with their brother Lennon. But like Lennon, they had absolutely no interest in staying confined in the Demon Embassy. Especially not when they have to be surrounded by demons, some of whom that never treated them correctly.
Both them and Lennon were kidnapped one day when they were on a secret walk in the morning, by people who claimed to be part of a group dedicated to liberating ivierae. Garbone saw red flags on the spot, and refused to help them, even attempting to leave. Because of this, they were shot with a fear spell multiple times, enough to leave a physical and mental scar. They were able to escape weeks later in the middle of the night, before they had planned to leave Fzalder.
It took years for Garbone to reach a stable state. When they first got back home they were a panicked mess, and had to be put on suicide watch. But with help from the butler, they were able to function on their own, even though the scars are still there. At that point, they could even travel with their grandfather Lord Cassius, to the capital city of Symilf for their quad-annual meeting with the Highking, the second one of the year.

Great with the harpsichord and gittern, but awful physical activities that involve a lot of running.
Likes to write, drink ginger tea, listen to and play music, and really enjoys vacations. They dislike their occupation, anything sexual (to the point of being called a prude by their family members), and they especially hates demons, though they’re trying to work past that hatred.

Bad with keeping up with hygiene, despite having easy access to everything they need to keep clean, including a private bath tub that even other family members don’t have.

Doesn’t know what they believe, or who they worship. After being contacted by Muirid though, they’re starting to worship Lady Alqoa.
they’re a bit of an ambivert, though shows more introverted qualities. They’re not very confident in crowds at all, and especially when the crowd consists of strangers.
Playing instruments, mainly the harpsichord and gittern. They write a bit of poetry on the side, and sometimes will even attempt to mix the two.
Despite their native language being New Tongue, they forced themself to develop a Silmfein accent, specifically the dialect from the capital city, just to piss off Lord Cassius. They avoid using cuss words, the worst they go to is "Hell". When drunk though, they’ll throw around F bombs.
History
They met after Havre, Jaryn, and Ryo visited the Demon Embassy asking for Cassius' help. She and Garbone ended up spending a lot of time together as she was good with aiding damage caused by spells. Eventually, Garbone just blatantly asked her out, and she agreed. They have to keep it a secret from Cassius as he's against inter-species relationships with ivierae.

Garbone's shared with her his fear of dating and kissing, as well as the sexual abuse he's endured. Havre shared with him that she's always dreamed of exploring the planet, but was afraid to because she was scared her little knowledge of other cultures would get in her way of making decent relationships.
History
Garbone and Cassius never saw eye to eye with each other, especially as Cassius has contributed to the abuse he's endured. Cassius is very old school, and wants his family to reflect that, but Garbone loathes his family history and rejects the culture Cassius wants to preserve. Cassius sees potential in him to do better, but is tired of how rebellious he is. Garbone's sick of dealing with him and wishes to live in freedom, but somewhat plays along with Cassius' demands just so he wouldn't be berated.

They've always been very close, and Lennon would always help Garbone when he would be scolded or when Cassius would use his powers to condition him as he was immune to Cassius' powers. Lennon attempted many times to take Garbone with him when he runs away, but most of the time he doesn't tag along because he's afraid of the consequences. They often hang out together, even in the middle of work since they have the same position, and also like to play music.

History
They used to get along a lot when Garbone was a kid, but had a falling out after Garbone's mental health started declining around puberty. Akae doesn't know how to process it, and ends up shitalking him for it. He really cares deeply about Garbone, but just doesn't understand mental health issues because he repressed his own issues, and wants to see him be better.
Relationship Reasoning
Cassius chose him as Garbone's Godfather because he trusts him to keep Garbone and his brother safe if anything happened to Cassius and Seiy.

History
Cassius stole him when he was a baby, and made Seiy play a part in raising him. Despite all that she loves Garbone with all her heart because he can recognise how evil Cassius is. She didn't think she'd handled a child with a soft heart well, but she bonds with him pretty well, and understands his needs.

They receive an allowance from Cassius, about 20 gold coins a week as long as they do their chores on top of their work. For their job, they make 180 gold coins a week. This income would put them in the nobility class, though most nobles refuse to see them as one due to their race.
