Deneb Habitat Complex

The Deneb Habitat Complex is a large spaceborne habitat complex located in the Deneb System, and is administered by the Commonwealth of Man. Initial construction of the complex began in 2292 CE over Olympus, and the main administration orbital was completed in 2297 CE. The complex is specialised towards mining operations, with its orbitals over Inferno, the Deneb Belt, Marble, and Tumbleweed all engaging in heavy mining operations.

The distances between the orbitals in the Deneb System are significantly higher than in most other systems, requiring a much greater degree of self-sufficiency. Many orbitals have sections set aside for hydroponics, despite their relative inefficiency compared to planet-based agriculture. Combined with water recycling, replicators, and antimatter power generation, the orbitals are designed to be completely self-sufficient for a period of up to ten years with their current population. Many of the orbitals are considered cramped by their occupants, and visitors have noted the relatively spartan decor and amenities available to the occupants.
