Dopplefen

Untouched by war or strife, Dopplefen has stayed a pastoral paradise for the past century. It is a refuge for those who wish to live their lives in peace, but the downside of living in such a place free from want is that desires fester there.

The number of young, hungry, and ambitious youth that flee Dopplefen's borders is staggering, all of them looking for something "more" than what Dopplefen can offer them.

Some come back. Others settle somewhere new. Still others never come home again, and their fate is left to the wind.

Structure

Dopplefen is not so organized as to have a monarchy - and to call it a nation or country is stretching it a bit.

Each province of 2-3 villages has promised to protect one another from whatever misfortunes may come, from famine, plague, or war. Thankfully there have been very few instances that have called the confederacy together to perform their duties.
