Clearmoor had been a Cactsian village for a few decades before Rosila Copplefall was born, and when she was a young woman she heard the calling from Politia to take the village back from Naevius Sabinus, the general who was currently lord and oppressor of the villagers. It was easier than one would think to gather enough hopeful revolutionaries together.

Easier still to cause Sabinus to flee when the peasantry stormed the gates. Knowing the Cactsians, his cowardice has been well documented and ridiculed. The people of Clearmoor offered her the mayorship, but she declined.

Politia had not called her to rule just yet. She blessed Cassius, her second-in-command, and gave him the duties of governance, while she traveled inwards to find if there was anyone else looking to protect Dopplefen from the dangers of the wilds and the other civilizations.
