The Silver Sea
The reflection of some distant moon ripples upon the surface of this dark, treacherous ocean, though the sky above is empty of all celestial light. There are many things living beneath its stygian surface, posing dangers to any who try to traverse its ever changing currents. To whom the Silver Lady extends an invitation, strange sandbars arise and guide travelers to her humble throne. Capricious and mysterious, the Lady calls like the sirens of old to sleeping Heralds, pulling them into Maverot to do her bidding.
Geography
An almost featureless expanse of black water stretches out beneath a lightless sky. Alternating erratically between deep and shallow, sailing is exceptionally dangerous and only undertaken for the most fatal of desires. The sea is bordered on the west by the holdings of two collectors, the Mask Collector and the Banquet Planner. To the north the Three Hunters stalk the Bone Forest, forever hunting new prey, while the Chronicle Proprietress manages her inn and her informants on the northern shore. To the south the Reconstructive Surgeon and the Razor Specialist compete for bodies to instruct in the ways of beauty. Finally, to the east is the fabled Altar of Self.
