The Silver Lady

Only appearing in the reflection of the moon on the Silver Sea , or rarely in areas of very bright light elsewhere in the world, the Silver Lady is one of the most mysterious residents of Maverot.
Manifesting as nothing more than animate clothing, the Silver Lady seems to possess neither body or mask. It is said that she once had the appearance of a beautiful woman with shining skin, but was attacked by the Baron and has never assumed that form since. She also was formerly believed to possess knowledge of a method to escape Maverot, and would often ferry pilgrims to the fabled and mysterious Altar of Self, whose purpose she was said to know. Since her encounter with the Baron, however, she has grown ever more enigmatic, capricious, and demanding. Few approach her now, and the Silver Sea is a place of great danger for any she has not given leave to travel it.
Groups of The Silver Lady's Heralds can be seen traversing across Maverot from time to time, bearing her light and doing her bidding.
