Meprestua

The Patient Progenitor (a.k.a. The Baron | Al-Majir (The Accuser))

Meprestua, called the Patient Progenitor, the Forgiver, and the Origin of Mercy. He is one of the most involved members of the Elanesset, often walking among folk and ever interfering with legal processes to argue for leniency. He and Adellid  enjoy a jovially adversarial relationship. Any in need of mercy can present themselves at his temples and be welcomed and protected. Associated most with humans - first and particularly the Arshuan  people - Meprestua is the most diversely welcoming and has a not insignificant number of followers from all races.

Formerly unpatroned, the eastern reaches of Maverot were adopted by Meprestua as settlers moved in. His dominion was affirmed by the other Elanesset by unanimous decision, making Meprestua the first of his peers to champion so diverse a group of people. The Arshuan people marked this event with a cultural holiday, celebrating the induction of new Elanni into the Patient Progenitor's Forbearance.
