Quick History of Malplenan

The history of Malplenan can be split into four broad categories. History south of the mountains, the history of the Majun Majun Empire, the rise and fall of the Ardada Empire, and the political intrigue of the region commonly known as birdland.

South of the Mountains

The Confederacy of Khünd Ajil used to be a series of tribes. These tribes united and formed the The Khündish Empire as a response to the threat of the Pallina Skirmishes and The Kakina Basin War. The empire eventually split up when there was no clear leader, forming the 7 states that are around today. These 7 states now agree on most of their governing and form the council of the confederacy.
The Sqʷn̓ečstm tribes united to form Mel̓ux̌aca’ as a response to The Kakina Basin War. When the war was over, the nation naturally fell apart due to tribes no longer respecting the central leadership. The tribes still refer to themselves as Mel̓ux̌aca’ even though there is no central governance. The population of the Sqʷn̓ečstm has spread out over the years due to many reasons, including the lack of central governance, The Fishing Famine and better economy in neighbouring nations.
The history of the Union of the Amikwànò is clouded due to the secrecy of their government. However, records show that they were founded well before The Kakina Basin War started. There is no known or official reason for the war and relations have been peaceful since then, with plenty of trade with their neighbouring nations.
The Rueda Kingdom has been around for all recorded history. I'm sure there's lots of rich history here but a certain someone hasn't written it yet.
The Pallina Tribes have no records or known history.

Majun Majun Empire

Ardada Empire

So much to write here. So little time. Ardada Empire for now. tl;dr. Empire founded in 1 AE. Empire collapsed in 302 AE. Seven nations led by the children of the emperor took its place.

Birdland

Mata Duitan and Boneana Republic duked it out. Borders were drawn and there is now a peace treaty. Mata Duitan has subjugated the Moala for as long as there is written history. Lots of historical records about the military exploits of Mata Duitan. Paísawizi is just a bunch of thugs, who cares about what they did in the past.
