Shetsarim Confederates

Located in south central continental Malatoria, this loose band of colonies is each ruled as a separate county/state within the larger confederation. Historically the confederation banded together for their own wellbeing in terms of trade and defense (they are bordered by The Land of Dagrazt in the west) but during the War Against the Darkness the Evil One was able to garner support from the Gallgaroth Barbarian Tribe – a large community of Barbarians that make their homes in the northwest plains of the Shetsarim Confederates.
Working with the support of Dagrazt's army, the warlike Gallgarothi swept through the plains, swallowing up the farming community of Talldria and completely destroying the opposing Tasserok Barbarian tribe. Their eastward advance was eventually stopped by the Telestanni, a group of deeply religious men and women that constitute a small but powerful force around Mt. Telestia. The Gallgaroth Tribe was halted, and eventually their grip on the central area of the Shetsarim Confederates was broken through the work of the heroes Rah Panushea and Melwen Profit.

The Garenwood, which include: Garen, and New Garen.
The Farming Communities of Talldria, which include: Longbridge, and Lake Talldria.
The Brecklem Miners and Brecklemine, a group of dwarves led by Hugo Breklem.
The Brightstone Pass and the passage to the east which includes: Mt. Vaxinuviuss, and New Waypoint

Structure

The Shetsarim Confederates are very loosely organized, with the individual states bargaining with each other for the mutual protection of all. Despite this, skirmishes between the tribes and states are quite common.

History

During the War Against the Darkness the Confederation was sundered when the Gallgaroth Barbarian Tribe took sides with the Land of Dagrazt. In the aftermath, the Shetsarim Confederates have been split along the Spirit Dancer River, with the western side falling prey to bandits and raiders, and the east banding together under the protection of Telestine and the dwarves of Brecklemine.
