Talldria

It is not easy to make things grow in the largely infertile ground of the Shetsarim Confederates and for that reason, a number of the independent Confederates rely on the farming expertise of the centrally located Talldrian Farming Communities. Along the Spirit Dancer River, the Talldrian Farmers have mastered a system of crop rotation that keeps food in the bellies of many of their neighbors. Before being overrun by the Gallgaroth Barbarian Tribe during the War Against the Darkness, the Talldrians made frequent exports of wheat, corn and a variety of other vegetables. Since the Barbarian invasion however, most of that export has halted and what does come through is either too expensive or it has been somehow spoiled, creating much unrest in the surrounding areas.
Near the center of the farming communities lies Lake Talldria. The lake is also a major source of food for the farming communities as it keeps them in constant supply of fresh fish.
The center of Talldrian commerce is the town of Longbridge. After the city of New Garen was founded to take advantage of the crossroads, the Talldrians commissioned the Garens to construct a sturdy bridge over the Spirit Dancer River for easier access to Lake Talldria from the east. As a direct result of this industriousness, the city of Longbridge sprang up and quickly became the largest city in the Eastern Confederates. Besides the convenience of a more direct east to west route through the S.C. it serves as a median point for the carpenters and farmers as well as occupying a secure point along the major trading road to Battle Lake.

Talldria is an agrarian society and uses a grange to help barter with its neighbors in Garen, Telestine, and the Brecklemine.
