Mt. Vaxinuviuss
How this still active volcano received its Gneissian name is some bit of lore lost through the ages. Occupying a foreboding spot over the Brightstone Pass in the Curtain Veil Mountains, the haze from this volcano's mouth can be seen for miles around. Although it has been many generations since its last truly violent eruption it is still considered wise to be wary of its power. Long ago, the old city of Waypoint was buried underneath its hot ash and molten rock.
