Formed from the remnants of a noble house, House Demilio, that fell during the events of the formation of the Republic of Niccarro, House Lanza had an uncertain path for a decade or two. It would eventually be given the enviable task of ensuring a steady supply of Timber and wood related products, a test to determine their loyalty to the country.
While they would face intitial conflict from House Pazzi, Lanza eventually won out and secured their favour with the Caten and the Republic at large.
Their township of origin, Oriera, has centered their life around their timber, with roads and homes named in honour of the very item that keeps the money rolling in.
While they are mostly based in Oriera, House Lanza owns a sizeable residence in Cinilia, to allow their house to remain close to the seat of power, and keep a close eye on their rivals.
Based on their initial conflict, House Lanza has a great rivalry with House Pazzi, which sometimes causes the two to come into conflict.
