Proboslet
A traditional piece of Tarunan jewelry. Made from a variety of materials, the proboslet fits on the trunk, either through friction like the finger rings worn by Munan, or with a clapping mechanism.
Almost all Tarunan wear such trunk rings, and many are used to symbolize class, status, familial relations, profession, and in some cases, criminal background.
Significance
Proboslets carry immense importance among the Tarunan. So much is placed upon their importance that even the order in which they are worn is dictated by cultural mores.

Proboslet's can be made from natural materials like leather, wood, or fabric, as well as from stone, metals, gems, or even projected light.
I really like the slightly controversial history of the proboslet. It kind of feels like the munan have reclaimed the jewellery for themselves.
In a way, yes!
