Munan
For thousands of cycles, nothing set the Munan apart from the common beasts of the system. They could be trained, they needed to be fed, kempt, would run wild if we let them. Then the Awakening occurred. Over a few generations, the Munan begin to communicate with us, to make their own decisions. They became sophisticated and adamant that they should be a part of the systems people. So the Altunian allowed it and the rest of us were made to follow suite.

Civilization and Culture
History
For most of recorded history, the Munan were little more than a domesticated pet or working beast, used for labor, enjoyment and testing throughtout Mizar. In fact, the species had been so aggressively transported across the system, that no one is really sure where they originally came from.
