Like most munan, Cohlin is an outcast in Tarun after the fall of the Mizar Alliance, viewed with suspicion and some vitriol. From Cohlin's point of view the leader of the T-IDC, Ayil Peron, has aggrivated the already fragile relationship between the tarunan and munan with her dedicated security campaign.

Personal history
Ten cycles ago, I was just a petty street thief. Picked pockets, scanned cred chi's, even moved product for Peron's administration a few times. Nahin, I wasn't petty. I was amazing. Still am. Just now I do more for my fellow mun than the nativist Taruman. The diff overextended their power and began forcing Tarunan ideals on the entire system. Outside the Aethfin, that didn't play well. Now, most of us mun aren't able to travel interworld without the diff knowing exactly who we are and where we are going. Avaid, Peron even put the mun ambassador in lock up for, "anti-tarunan hate speech and attempts at inciting terrorism and rebellion". I don't like her myself, don't get me wrong. But she isn't anywhere close to that extreme. Too much "peace and love" for my taste.

The only person you can rely on to change a situation is yourself. You can't trust me to fix your problems, and you really can't blame me for them to begin with.
