Perel River

The Perel River, with Rinat Lake is a natural divider between Southern Lavrentiy and the main body of the continent. It is named after an archaic form of the word 'Pearl'.

Geography

The Perel River is a crystal clear-fast moving stream. It is fed by numerous small tributaries, and flows into the Haanraads Bay.

Natural Resources

The Perel River contains a plethora of fresh water fish and mussels. In addition to the food provided, they are also a source of pearls.

History

Historically, the Perel river served as the Northern boundary to the Gedia Empire. However, after the The Second Jayesh War, Gedia extended its reach beyond, making the Perel River into a natural corridor for goods.
